Is regular maintenance required?

YES, we recommend servicing every 12-18 months by a qualified technician to optimise performance, ensure maximum lifespan and maintain manufacturers warranty.

Should I use a professional installer/technician?

We strongly recommend a qualified installer/technician when conducting any work on garage doors or automatic openers. Springs in particular are under extreme tension and are very dangerous to attempt to adjust yourself. Also if correct installation/adjustment isn’t performed, damage can occur and also void warranty.

Do I lubricate my door tracks?

NO!!!! Never spray lubricants directly into the tracks of any type of door. If they require cleaning the best option is methylated spirits or mineral turpentine.

What do I use to lubricate my door?

We recommend INOX mx-3 lubricant every 6-12 months in standard applications and every 3-6 months if near the sea or in an open carport.

Where do I spray the lubricant?

On all moving parts (springs, wheels, cables, hinges, bearings) NOTE* DO NOT LUBRICATE PLASTIC HINGES.

My remote isn’t working what do I do?

First check that the motor makes no noise when the remote is pressed. If the motor makes a noise then the remote is ok and the likely issue is with the motor. If no noise is heard, first check the battery and if that fails call us on 0402043868 to come and check it out.

What do I do if there is a power outage and i need to get my car out?

All motors have a manual release mechanism, for roller doors it is a rope or lever attached to the motor at the side of the door, for sectional overhead doors it is located near where the motor attaches to the door.

How do I clean my door?

The same way as you clean your car at home, with a soapy sponge and a hose.
